CORE Investments Administration, Priorities and Funding Structure
The County of Santa Cruz Human Services Department administers CORE Investments on behalf of the County and the City of Santa Cruz. FYs 2025-28 CORE Investments awards were approved by the Board of Supervisors and City Council on November 19, 2024.
 
While significant need has been identified in all areas of the CORE Conditions of Health and Well-Being in Santa Cruz County, funding limitations required that services be prioritized. As a result, the Board of Supervisors' and City Council's November 2024 approval directed that the CORE Investments RFP awards for FYs 2025-28 provide services that focus on lifelong learning & education, thriving families, and healthy environments:

On April 29, 2025, HSD provided the Board of Supervisors with an update on the FYs 2025-28 CORE contracts. CLICK HERE to read this update.
