Use our Automated Phone Services to access information about public assistance.

Looking for Information about Public Assistance?

Use the Automated Phone System to:

  • Obtain office hours and locations.
  • Obtain information about CalFresh (Food Stamps), CalWORKs, Medi-Cal, and General Assistance.
  • Apply for CalFresh or Medi-Cal, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Currently receiving benefits?

Use the Automated Phone System to:

  • Check the status of your case.
  • Report changes to your case (new address, new baby, income changes, etc.).
  • Access CalFresh, Medi-Cal, or General Assistance benefit information.
  • Check your Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) balance.
  • Check if reporting forms have been received.
  • Find out when reports are due.
  • Request replacement EBT or BIC cards.
  • Update or change your PIN number.
