Where do I apply?

You can apply in person at one of our Customer Service Centers, online, and by phone.

Other Options To Apply

1. Set up a BenefitsCal Account and then apply through BenefitsCal. Once received, your application will be assigned to one of our Benefit Representatives.
2. Apply by telephone! Call us toll free, 8 am to 4 pm, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays each week, at 1 (888) 421-8080 (our Phone Customer Service Center is closed Wednesdays for paperwork processing).
3. Apply in person! Visit one of our Walk-In Customer Service Centers, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, to apply:
   • 1020 Emeline Avenue in Santa Cruz, CA 95060 and
   • 500 Westridge Drive in Watsonville, CA 95076
4. Apply by fax at (831) 786-7100
5. To request an application be mailed to you, call 1 (888) 421-8080
6. Download the CalFresh application directly from the California Department of Social Services website

Language

Applicants may be interviewed in Spanish and American Sign Language. When necessary, other languages can be made available.
