  1. Apply online at Covered California or set up a BenefitsCal Account and then apply through BenefitsCal.
  2. Apply by telephone, call the Phone Customer Service Center at 1 (888) 421-8080 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  3. Apply in person at one of our Customer Service Center locations, Monday -Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  4. To request an application be mailed to you, call the Phone Customer Service Center at 1 (888) 421-8080.
  5. Download the Medi-Cal application directly form the California Department of Health Care Services website.

Language

Applicants may be interviewed in Spanish, and American Sign Language. When necessary, other languages can be made available.
