Transitional Housing Plus is a supportive housing program serving former foster and probation youth between the ages of 18-24. Youth obtain independent housing in the community and receive support from THP Plus Coordinators as they work on independent living goals. By offering services in a real life environment, the program promotes the self-confidence and financial stability necessary for youth to succeed in independent living.
Transitional Housing Program Plus services include financial assistance with rent, utilities, food, and educational expenses so that youth can save money for when they leave the program. Youth also receive emotional support, life skills coaching, and assistance with accessing other community resources.
Transitional Housing Plus services are provided in collaboration with the Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center.
