I'm a CalWORKs recipient, how do I qualify? 

You may qualify for child care supportive services under the CalWORKs program if:

1. You, the parent, are receiving cash assistance under the CalWORKs system and your child is under age 13* OR
2. You, the parent, were receiving cash assistance under the CalWORKs system within the last 24 months and your child is under age 13* AND
3. You need child care because you are in an approved CalWORKs activity such as:
   1. Work
   2. Community work service
   3. Independent job search
   4. Vocational training
   5. Self-initiated training program
   6. Work study
   7. Job search or job club
   8. Adult basic education, GED or high school proficiency

* The age limit may be higher for a disabled child
