How do I apply?

You can apply by mail, phone, online, or come into one of our Human Services Department Application Centers.

If you cannot get to the office because you are disabled, someone who is authorized by you who knows your circumstances can apply and be interviewed on your behalf. If you are disabled and cannot get someone to apply for you, you can apply by mail or call 1 (888) 421-8080.

If you currently receive CalFresh or Medi-Cal benefits and have questions, please call our Benefits Call Center at 1 (888) 421-8080.
