Wash Your Hands

Wash your hands with soap and hot water before and after you use the bathroom, prepare food, perform household chores, or touch the client or their clothes.  

Wear Gloves

Wear gloves, face masks, and use hand sanitizer. 

Stay At Home If You Are Ill

Stay at home if you are ill, and be sure to call your client(s). If the client is high risk, in need of services, also contact their representative and/or IHSS Social Worker. 

Supplies

For supplies, contact IHSS at (831) 454-4036 or (831) 763-8800 to make sure gloves and masks (during flu season) are available for you to pick up.
